From 2 Time Dropout Making Just $12/Hour to 9 Month College Grad...

This was the moment that changed everything... It was easily the biggest failure I'd experienced in my life. I was in my mid twenties, married with a 6 month old baby, and decided to move my little family to Alaska to start a business. We saved up as much money as we possibly could, I quit my job and rented a U-Haul truck... We took everything we had, drove across Canada and rented a small apartment in the most beautiful place we'd ever seen!

Long story short, 10 months later my business wasn't "off the ground" yet and we'd run out of money. I sat down with my wife and said the hardest thing I've ever had to say... "We have to move back home"... Within 2 weeks we sold almost everything we had, including our only car so that we could afford plane tickets to fly "home"... 

I went from young business owner living in an exotic place, to living in my dad's basement with my wife and daughter. Within a few weeks I found a job that offered free housing to employees.  Plus it paid a whopping $12/hour... The only problem... this "free housing" was the crappiest place I've ever lived... we didn't even feel comfortable having guests in our home. It was embarrassing. 

Something had to change.

But....... I didn't qualify for any decent jobs.

I needed a degree.

The problem was.. I had zero confidence that I could graduate. I had already dropped out twice. I had 6 college credits to my name... basically starting from zero.

So.. I procrastinated until my wife got pregnant with our second daughter. That's what really lit a fire under me.

I enrolled in an online school, mentally prepared to the best of my ability, and went for it.

And guess what!!!??? 

I just about dropped out again. It was homework, quizzes, essays, lectures, and all the other stuff that drove me from school the first 2 times.

But I kinda got lucky... I happened to be enrolled in a University that allowed you to test out of your classes. 

It dawned on me... How about I figure out how to learn this stuff on my own and skip all the homework and lectures. Well, it wasn't smooth at first but it was better than opening those textbooks so I kept rolling.

I became obsessed with trying new hacks and finding new ways to go faster. Class after class... it basically became a system. I got to the point where I was finishing a class every week. Then, a class every few days.. and even a few classes within a day. 

9 months later, I was done... FOREVER!

To be honest, my family and friends didn't believe me! I had to take a selfie with my diploma just so I had proof.

Within months... my entire career changed. I had job offers waiting for me. I had options. High paying options. Looking back I remember the stress of Monday mornings... I remember the stress of paying bills each month... It was crippling. But once I had my degree, that all disappeared very quickly. 

Family and friends started asking me to help them with school... And to my surprise, my process worked for them too! I'd walk them through my exact process for each type of class they'd take.. and it just worked. 

Eventually word got out, and I started getting random strangers calling me for help. That's when I knew... I have to share this with the world.
